Michael Wade Midgette, 66, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully with his loving niece, Alicia Miller, by his side on Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, in Norfolk, VA.  Mike was born on July 10, 1953 in Currituck to the late Robert L. Midgette, Sr. and Renee Cuthrell Midgette.  He was preceded in death by his younger brother, Carlton S. Midgette.

Mike was a native of Manteo for most of his life where he worked as a carpenter.  He is survived by his older brothers, Robert L. Midgette, Jr. (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach, SC and James G. Midgette of Manns Harbor, niece, Alicia Miller of Hampton, VA, great-nephew, Lukas Miller (Laurin) of Hampton, VA, and nephews, David and Daniel.

A Graveside Service will be held in the Manteo Cemetery on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11:00 am.
