College of The Albemarle received $1,100 from the Kitty Hawk Rotary Club. The funds are designated to sponsor a COA Dare Campus student who is participating in the study abroad program. Amy Alcocer, executive director, COA Foundation; Jennifer Schwartzenberg, director of community outreach and development, The Outer Banks Hospital; Margaret Caldwell, president, Kitty Hawk Rotary Club; and Brian Edwards, chair, social sciences department and co-founder of COA’s study abroad program, all from left, took part in the presentation on Thursday, February 6 at Duck Woods Country Club.
