May special events canceled in Manteo

In response to guidance from public health officials the Town of Manteo special events have been canceled for the month of May due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) public health situation.

The Town Litter Pick-Up honoring long-time employee Rodney “Crow” Murray, originally scheduled for May 2, has been postponed until November 14.

The Manteo Downtown Market, formerly known as the Farmer’s Market, will be postponed until further notice.

While a difficult decision, the Town of Manteo stated it is committed to the health, safety and welfare of the community, volunteers, vendors, customers and staff.
