Dare commissioners meet remotely April 20

Dare County Board of Commissioners meets remotely for its regularly scheduled meeting Monday, April 20 at 5 p.m.

As on April 6, four commissioners will be present in the meeting room at the Dare County Administration Building in Manteo and three commissioners will join remotely.

To conform to the 10 person gathering limit, no seats are available for members of the public.

However, the meeting will be streamed live. Go to darenc.com under Board of Commissioners and click the tab for Meetings on the left side of the page. A connection to the livestream will appear.

To submit public comment under the second agenda item, email dcboc@darenc.com. The third item is a public hearing on the Series 2020A Refunding Limited Obligation Bonds. During the hearing, email comments to dcboc@darenc.com.

The agenda features a 10 item consent agenda.

Three items are budget amendments from the Department of Health and Human Services. Another budget amendment comes from Emergency Management.

Board Chairman Robert L. Woodard opens the meeting with an update. At the end of the meeting, commissioners and county manager/attorney Robert L. Outten will offer comments.
