As Island Farm in Manteo awaits visitors for its tenth season since opening to the public, life on the farm continues to thrive.

Potatoes, corn and herbs have begun to sprout and the chickens, sheep, oxen and horses spend their days outside enjoying the sunshine.

Exciting additions such as a blacksmith shop are in the works and Island Farm is gearing up to have visitors come through the historic site once again.
