Blood drive at The Outer Banks Hospital set for Wednesday

The Blood Connection and The Outer Banks Hospital are partnering to host a community blood drive at the hospital on May 6 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The blood drive will adhere to both CDC and local health department guidelines and participants will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms prior to entering the donation location.

Blood donated at The Blood Connection blood drive will stay local to benefit residents of the Outer Banks community. For questions, call 252-449-4529. Walk ins are welcome, but those who wish to register can do so at https://donate.thebloodconnection.org/donor/schedules/drive_schedule/137313.
