Billie Jo Roughton (nee Jackson), of Kitty Hawk, died April 30, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. She was 47. Raised in Tyrrell County, Billie Jo was preceded in death by father William R. Jackson; mother Betty B. Jackson; brother Barry Jackson; and grandson Corbin Ashton Harvey.

Billie Jo is survived by companion Daniel Clemens; children Brittany Phelps (Josh), Tyler Harvey (Kaitlyn), Eric Roughton, Kayla Gonzalez (Antonio) and Carson Roughton; grandchildren Bentley, Isaac, Anthony and Caleb; siblings Scott, Richard “Heath,” Stephanie and Amanda Jackson; and many nieces and nephews.
