In appreciation for their courageous efforts during the COVID-19 crisis, Mary Jo Wagner delivered load of snacks to the staff of The Outer Banks Hospital and Medical Group on National Nurse’s Day, May 2.

The scope of the project, started by her “No Name Book Club” and continued by her Player’s Grille Mah Jongg group, was greatly increased when members of the Nags Head Golf Links – Links Ladies also jumped in to extend the project.

A masked Wagner, seen peering over the back seat of her SUV, is readying the goods to hand over. Accepting them as well as acting as photographer was Jennifer Schwartzenberg, OBH director of community outreach and development.
