Third confirmed COVID-19 case in Hyde County announced

Luana Gibbs, health director for Hyde County, announced Hyde County’s third laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19 on Saturday afternoon, June 13.

The individual is reported to be in isolation at home and close contacts have been identified and given quarantine instructions.

While this is the third lab-confirmed case in Hyde County, two of the three cases have recovered. The county has no current hospitalizations and no deaths to report.
