No storm debris from Isaias to be collected in Kill Devil Hills

The Town of Kill Devil Hills has announced that, due to minimal damage within the town by Tropical Storm Isaias, there will be no storm debris collection.

Kill Devil Hills residents and property owners may bring any vegetative debris to the town’s Dry Trash Drop Off Center, which is located at 701 Bermuda Bay Boulevard in Kill Devil Hills. The current hours of operation are 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

Those using the Kill Devil Hills Dry Trash Drop Off Center must have a permit. Permits are issued free of charge to owners and residents of improved properties within the corporate limits of the Town of Kill Devil Hills.

Permits are obtained through the Public Services Department. Due to COVID-19, town offices are accessible by appointment only. If you need a Dry Trash Drop Off permit, call the Kill Devil Hills Public Services Department at 252-480-4080 to schedule a time to visit their office.
