Lettie Baxter, left, and Maggie Fazenbaker – with a photo of longtime active Colington United Methodist Church member Julia Haywood, who passed away in October 2014 – will be wearing their CUMC shirts at the rescheduled semi-annual CUMC yard sale.

Originally scheduled for this past May, the event that was postponed due to COVID-19 stay-at-home orders has now been rescheduled for Friday, September 18 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, September 19, 7 a.m. until noon. CDC and Health Dept. guidelines will be adhered to and everyone must wear a mask when entering with a limit to the number of people allowed to enter at any given time. The church is located at 1949 Colington Road.

Monies raised at the yard sales help to fund United Methodist Women’s Ministries such as Student of the Month reception at First Flight Elementary School, monthly breakfast for First Flight Middle School Christian Athletes, Monday Night Alive tutoring program and Teachers’ End of the Year Appreciation Breakfast at FFES.
