COVID-19 testing event set in Fairfield

On Sept. 29, a Hyde County drive-through COVID-19 testing event will start at 4 p.m. at the Fairfield United Methodist Church, located at 126 Church St. in Fairfield.

The testing is by appointment only. Call 252-926-4397 or 252-926-4382 to schedule an appointment.

Residents of Hyde, Beaufort, Dare, Martin, Tyrrell and Washington counties age 10 years and older are eligible to be tested.

Individuals will not incur any out-of-pocket cost. If insured, bring ID and insurance card.

Free face masks are available to all participants while supplies last.

Engelhard Medical Center, 33270 U.S. Highway 264, Engelhard. Telephone 252-925-7000

Ocracoke Health Center, 305 Back Road, Ocracoke. Telephone 252-928-1511
