Mr. Wally G. Wise, 83, died peacefully in Chesapeake, Va. on October 6, 2020. A Dare County native, Wally was the son of the late John and Robanna Wise. Besides his parents, Wally was predeceased by wife Anges. Wally spent his career years as a lighthouse keeper and engineer in the United States Coast Guard.

Wally Wise is survived by son Oran Wise of Kitty Hawk; granddaughters Meghan McMahan of Asheboro; and Taylor Wise of Powells Point; brothers Brian Wise of Kitty Hawk and Shelley Wise of Texas, as well as a host of other relatives and extended family members.

Wally’s funeral will be held graveside on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Austin Cemetery in Kitty Hawk at 11 a.m. Express condolences to the family at www.gallopfuneralservices.com. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements.
