Tessie Basnight Tillett, 79, of Manteo, died October 8, 2020 in her home.

Tessie was born to Margaret and Andrew Tillett in 1940. She had a number of different jobs throughout her life including stenography and co-owning Video Andy’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Jill Cote. She is survived by brothers Jack and Andy Tillett of Manteo, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
