Coastal Humane Society and Friends of Felines-Hatteras Island will hold a vaccination clinic for dogs and cats on Wednesday, Oct. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon.

The clinic will be held at 41076 NC 12, which is the yellow building right next to Nino’s Pizza in Avon.

No appointments are needed. The clinic is offered for Hatteras Island pet owners only. Other clinics will be held up the beach in the next few months.

Dogs must be on leashes and cats in carriers.

Masks are required for all humans.

Vaccinations for dog are $28 and include rabies, distemper-parvo and bordetella.

Vaccinations for cats are $15 and include rabies and FVRCP.

The clinic requires cash or check only for payment. No credit cards will be accepted.
