Halloween events planned on Hatteras Island

Hatteras Island Halloween festivities include events in Hatteras, Frisco and Rodanthe.

On Thursday and Friday, Oct. 29 and Oct. 30, a “Trail of Terrors” will be offered by the Hatteras Village Civic Association.

Check in at the Hatteras Village Civic Center from 7 to 9 p.m. to be transported to the Haunted Trail. “One person will check in and pay for the group, mask required at check in. There will be no direct interaction on the trail.”

There is a maximum of eight people per group and each group will be transported with that group only.

The cost is $5 per person.

In Frisco, “Light the Night” will be featured at the Trunk or Treat event at the Heritage of Faith Family Church on Halloween Night, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This is the ninth annual Halloween event for the whole family sponsored by the church.

Fellowship, food and games will be offered along with a free raffle for an electric scooter for a boy and a girl.

Heritage of Faith Family Church is located at 52406 NC 12 in Frisco.

Fair Haven United Methodist Church in Rodanthe is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat event starting at 6 p.m. on Halloween Night, Saturday, Oct. 31.

Games, treats and prizes will be featured.
