Nine Dare County employees were recognized with a presentation of service pins at a Dare County Board of Commissioners meeting held in September.

Five employees within the Dare County Department of Health & Human Services received a 10-year service pin, including Danielle Stine, a physical therapist for the Division of Public Health; Elizabeth “Liz” Rhodes, income maintenance caseworker for the Division of Social Services; Elizabeth “Beth” Bradley, social worker III for the Division of Social Services; Brooke Knight, social worker III for the Division of Social Services; and Shannon Foltz, social worker IV for the Division of Social Services.

Kim Holder, a water treatment plant operator at the Dare County Water Department’s Skyco facility, and Joseph “J.T.” Slaughter, a distribution system specialist at the Dare County Water Department, both received their 15-year service pins.

Spencer Gregory, leisure programs supervisor for the Roanoke Island Division of the Dare County Parks & Recreation Department, was recognized with a 20-year service pin.

Greg Ball, geographical information system (GIS) coordinator for the Dare County Information Technology Department, received his 25-year service pin.
