Roanoke Island Garden Club’s plant and yard sale set for Saturday

Fall is here and time to plant new additions in gardens to allow time for them to acquire strong roots before winter arrives.

The Roanoke Island Garden Club has scheduled its fall plant and yard sale, rain or shine, on Saturday, November 7 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Elizabethan II Guest House, located at 603 Harriot Street (corner of Harriot and Highway 64) in Manteo.

Club members will be selling outdoor and indoor plants as well as books, jewelry, household and Christmas items and baked goods. Three-gallon sized plants donated by Quentin and June Bell will also be available.

The new location of this sale will allow for social distancing. Attendees are asked to wear masks.
