College of The Albemarle has announced the formation of an endowed scholarship called the “Rae Eley Endowed Scholarship.”

Helen Parlette, left, and Emily Gould, representatives of the Virginia Dare Business and Professional Woman’s Club, present a check for $25,444 to establish scholarship with the COA Foundation.

The scholarship will provide assistance for a female COA student, aged 25 or older, who resides in Dare, Currituck, Tyrrell, Hyde, Camden or Pasquotank county.
