Tree lighting event in Currituck set for Saturday

The Currituck Historical Society and Currituck Tourism will sponsor a drive-by tree lighting event on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 5-8 p.m. at the Currituck Courthouse.
The county will give each person a Currituck ornament. Cars will stop at the tree to for drivers and passengers to receive their ornaments
Santa will also be on hand to the people. Masks and social distance will be practiced.
