Malotha “Duke” Bowen Williams Jr., 61, of Sevierville, Tenn., formerly of Dare County, died December 7, 2020 at his home in Sevierville with husband Danny and lifelong friend Inez Fontanez by his side.

Survivors include husband Daniel Brown and mother Christine Chamberlain. He was preceded in death by father Malotha Bowen Williams Sr., grandparents Jesse and Eula Perry (maternal) and Jesse and Carrie Williams (paternal), plus a large extended family.

A graveside funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on December 13 at Austin Cemetery, Kitty Hawk. Viewing will be held Saturday evening at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo from 6-8 p.m.
