Ted and Jean Stevens of Tyrrell County celebrated 65 years of marriage on December 18.

Ted served in the Korean War in the Navy and retired from Warner Lambert Co. Jean retired from civil service at the Norfolk Naval Hospital.

The couple has five children, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
