The Manteo Board of Commissioners declared December 31, 2020 as Becky Breiholz Day in the Town of Manteo in recognition of her dedication to serving the people of Manteo for over 20 years.

Commissioners thanked Breiholz, left, for her exceptional professionalism, her willingness to help others and for simply always being a friendly face. She will close out her distinguished career by retiring from the Town of Manteo effective December 31.

Jamie Carol McClease Whitley, right, will begin her appointment as the next Manteo town clerk on January 1.
