Yvonne Hooker Abshire, 90, of Hertford, died December 26, 2020 at Peak Resources Outer Banks, Nags Head. She was the daughter of the late Alva R. Hooker and Irva K. Hooker, and the wife of the late John D. Abshire Sr.

She is survived by sons John D. Abshire Jr. and wife Debbie and Scott L. Abshire and wife Kathryn; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.  She was preceded in death by brother Al Hooker.
