Ronald Thomas Sumrell, 75, of Kill Devil Hills, died December 25, 2020 at his home.

Born in Lenoir County, he was the son of the late Lillian Monroe Sumrell and Robert Henry Sumrell.

Ron served his country honorably in the United States Army and the National Guard during the Vietnam War.

Ron is survived by sister Bobbie Sumrell Allen and husband Elwood and a niece.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service at this time.
