Seasonal resident Gene Awtry Conley passed away of natural causes in Nags Head on December 30, 2020. He was 81 and a United States Air Force Veteran. Gene was predeceased by his wife.

The family has arranged for Gene’s funeral and interment back home in Orange, Va.  Preddy Funeral Home will be in charge. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with local arrangements. www.gallopfuneralservices.com.
