The Town of Manteo is returning to a subscription-based recycling service with Bay Disposal this month. Residents and businesses who would like to participate must opt in to the service by calling Katie Beasley at Bay Disposal at 252-491-5105 (ext. 351) by January 31.

Weekly roll cart recycling service will cost $11.35 per month and Bay Disposal will send out bills each quarter.

For those customers who decide not to opt in to the service, Bay Disposal will pick up roll carts beginning February 5.

Temporary recycling containers are located in the side parking lot at Town Hall from January through the end of June to help during the transition. Additionally, residents may  use the Dare County Recycling Center located at 1018 Driftwood Drive.
