Gilbert (Gil) Jerome Joseph, of Manteo, died January 26, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born March 10, 1950 to Florence and Steven Joseph just outside Pittsburgh, Pa. He served in the US Navy as a medic during the Vietnam War.

Gil is survived by wife Susan; son Christopher Joseph; and mother-in-law Emmie Rollason.
