Charlotte Anne Elliott Pipes, 70, of Elizabeth City, died February 9, 2021 at her residence. Born in Edenton on May 20, 1950 to the late Joseph Henry Elliott and Mary Magaline Kennedy Twine, she was the wife of Harold Lloyd Pipes.

She is survived by daughter Amanda White (David); sister Darlene Brickhouse (Lyman); brother Curtis Delaney Sr. (Esther); grandchildren Amber Grove (Timothy), Mary LeAnn Whitley, Jarrah White and David Trafton White; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by sisters Gail Cooper (Irvin) and Linda Carter (Raymond).

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on February 22 at New Day Church with the Revs. Dale and Sherry Forbes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the family at 179 Mill Rd., Hertford, NC  27944 (for medical expenses for both Charlotte and her husband, who is fighting Covid).  Twiford Funeral Home, Elizabeth City is assisting the family. www.TwifordFH.com.
