Lois Marlene Nelms, born March 30, 1955, of Kill Devil Hills, died on February 9, 2021 at home.

Lois was predeceased by parents Frank Brinkley Nelms Sr. and Joan Harrison Nelms and brother Frank Brinkley Nelms Jr. She is survived by son Warren Lee Staples Sr.; grandchildren Richard Lee Dixon, Rebecca Lynn Dixon, Anthony Rogerson Staples, Warren Lee Staples Jr. and Rose Marie Staples; sister, Joni Mansfield, brother Robert E. Nelms (Diane), sister-in-law Catherine J. Nelms and many nieces and nephews.

No funeral service is planned at this time.
