Arlene Turner Ward, 83, of Kill Devil Hills, died peacefully on February 13, 2021. She was predeceased by mother Mattie Riggs Sawyer; stepfather Howard E. Sawyer; father Joseph Gaston Turner; and brother Douglas Gaston Turner.

Arlene is survived by son John Troy Ward (Alyson); daughter Linda White; grandchildren Parker Ward, Dennis Perry, Mark Cartwright and Claire White; and a great-granddaughter.
