Two Virginia men arrested on drug and firearm charges in Kill Devil Hills

The Dare County Sheriff’s Office has reported two arrests made after a Kill Devil Hills traffic stop and the search of a motel room.

According to information from DCSO, on March 11, 2021 at around 4:30 p.m., deputies working the A-District conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the First Street Beach Access on North Virginia Dare Trail in Kill Devil Hills, during which cocaine, marijuana and two handguns were located and seized. The Dare County Narcotics Task Force assisted with the investigation and a search warrant was executed on a motel room in Kill Devil Hills, where more cocaine, marijuana and U.S. currency were located and seized, stated DCSO.

Andrew Daniel Barrows, 28, Virginia Beach, Va., was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, a felony; felony trafficking in cocaine; felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine marijuana. He is being held on a $175,000 secured bond, according to DCSO.

Christian Adam Lane, 30, New Kent, Va., was charged with felon in possession of a firearm, a felony; felony trafficking in cocaine; felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and felony possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine marijuana. He is being held on an $250,000 secured bond, according to DCSO.
