Tyrrell Elementary School hosted Aulander Elementary School, part of Bertie County Schools, on Friday, March 5.

Aulander Elementary School’s principal – along with five other teachers and staff members – observed TES’s model of facilitation as a guide for their scheduled face-to-face/virtual hybrid reopening on March 22, 2021. The team was also greeted by Tyrrell County Schools Superintendent Oliver A. Holley and Dr. LaKesia Boone, director of HR, during their visit at TES.

Special thanks was expressed to TES Assistant Principal Joyeria Brothers for organizing the site visit from Aulander Elementary School. Aulander Elementary Principal Natasha Stephenson and her staff were appreciative of everyone’s hospitality and the opportunity to observe TES’s procedures for face-to-face instruction in a hybrid setting.
