Sheila Tillett Young, 74, of Memphis, TN went home to be with the Lord on February 27th, 2021. Born in Manteo on August 8, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Nellie Tillett of Wanchese.

Sheila was preceded in death by her daughter Amber Young Nichols and her sister Rosie Tillett Davenport.

She is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Adris “Chip” Young of the home, one daughter, Wendy Young of Memphis, two granddaughters, Greyson and Lorelei Nichols of Memphis, one sister, Cheryl Tillett Daniels and husband Kenny of Wanchese, one brother-in-law, Rev. Ken Davenport of LaGrange, NC and many loving nieces and nephews.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
