Monday Night Alive will present a community Easter celebration Sunday morning, April 4 at 10 a.m. at Cartwright Park.

“Join us as we celebrate Easter,” invited organizers. “If you’ve been wondering where God is in the midst of all that is going and have been looking with disbelief at events going on in the world and looking for hope, join us for a message of hope and inspiration for the community from the Rev. Dr. Michelle Lewis. The message she will deliver on Sunday is, ‘The Disciples Didn’t Believe it Either…’ This will be a socially distanced event.”

Lewis is the founder of the Peace Garden Project. She graduated from Yale with a Master of Environmental Science and a Master of Divinity and in 2013 she became the first person of color to complete the joint degree program in religion and the environment at Yale.
