Richard Ernest Heinrich, 65, of Kill Devil Hills, died April 4, 2021 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

Born in Norfolk, Va. on February 14, 1956, he was the son of the late Estelle Grimes Heinrich and Walter Ernest Heinrich.

He is survived by wife Denise Atkins Heinrich; sons Derek Heinrich and Ricky Heinrich; siblings Dawn Lamb (John) and Susanne Totherow; mother-in-law Frances Atkins; stepmother Janet Heinrich; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service at this time.
