At its previous meeting, the board selected BrightSpring’s non-binding Letter of Intent over three others.

In a telephone conversation on April 14, county manager Robert L. Outten said that at Monday’s board meeting, BrightSpring will make a presentation, after which commissioners will have an opportunity to ask questions. Following the question period, the public hearing will be convened. People making comments have up to five minutes to speak. After the public hearing is closed, the commissioners will give instructions about how to proceed.

Also on the agenda is a continued discussion for the Avon beach nourishment service district.

Additionally, a report will be delivered by Tane R. Casserley, acting superintendent, Monitor National Marine Sanctuary, about the sanctuary’s expansion project.

The county’s new Extension director, Tanya Lamo, will be introduced and provide a short presentation illustrating the Extension’s 2020 accomplishments.
