Virginia Tillett has been selected as one of this year’s North Carolina Black Alliance Trailblazer Award recipients for her “dedication to community and servant leadership over the years,” stated the award announcement.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 NC Black Summit will take place virtually April 22-23 and on April 23 during the closing luncheon, Tillett’s award presentation is set to be showcased.
