Frances (Reynolds) Owens, 84, of Raleigh, died April 16, 2021, at Kelley’s Family Care Home, Wake Forest.

Frances was born on April 19, 1936, in Tyrrell County to the late William Valentine and Ruth Harris Reynolds. She was the wife of William Albert Owens Jr., who preceded her in death.

Frances is survived by daughters Ann Nichols and husband Jim, and Lynne Fenner; son Michael Owens and wife Tammy; grandchildren Ruth Rossbach, Ashley Bush, Mallory Elks, Matthew Fenner, Stefanie Sanborn, Allen Kent, Sara Gibson, Christina Wareham, Lauren Owens, James Michael Nichols and spouses; six great-grandchildren and sister Ruby Knight.

She was also preceded in death by brother Thorne Reynolds.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to North Raleigh United Methodist Church, 8501 Honeycutt Road, Raleigh, NC 27615.

Close family gathered at a graveside service on April 19 at the Bodwell Cemetery in Tyrrell County.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia.
