A North Carolina man was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison Friday for sex trafficking of hundreds of women.

Jesse Gabriel Marks, 38, of Jacksonville was ordered to prison Friday after pleading guilty in September. He must also pay $249,700 in restitution to several victims.

Prosecutors said Marks prostituted hundreds of women, including at least one minor, over nearly two decades. Marks used drugs, including heroin and methamphetamine, to keep the women dependent on and prostituting for him, prosecutors said.
