A North Carolina high school football player and his brother have been identified as the two boaters whose bodies have been found in the Intracoastal Waterway in South Carolina, a coroner said.

Horry County Coroner Tamara Willard said Ahykeem Jones, 28, fell into the water from a boat he was riding in with several members of his family near Pelican Bay landing around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, news outlets reported. Willard said Jones’ brother, Johnnie Magbie, 19, jumped in after Jones, but neither of them resurfaced.

Divers found the bodies of the two men on Monday. Magbie was visiting the area from Supply, North Carolina, and Jones was visiting from Henderson, North Carolina, Willard said. The South Carolina Coast Guard said the brothers were wearing life jackets but crews found them in the water.
