Linda Snowden Jones, 62, of Maple, died June 7, 2021 after a long battle with lymphoma. Linda was born in Elizabeth City on July 17, 1958 to Marvin Thue Snowden and JoAnn Berry Snowden of Maple. Linda was preceded in death by her father Marvin Snowden.

Linda is survived by husband Michael Jones; daughters Brandi Moore (Michael), Jamie Schmalzbach (Richard) and Sheri Jones; stepdaughter, Pamela Nhampossa (Mario); mother JoAnn Snowden; brother Thue Snowden; sister Carrie Snowden; 10 grandchildren and other family and friends.

The funeral service was held June 11 at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Maple. Pastors Joe Griffith and Leon Dodson officiated. Burial followed at the Snowden Family Cemetery.
