John Edward Daley, 58, of Kill Devil Hills, died June 16, 2021 at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ on February 14, 1963, he was the son of the late Perrine Mitchell Daley and Thomas Peter Daley.

John is survived by sister Marcia Daley Alcorn (Peter); brother Thomas P. Daley Jr.; step-son Ruperto Martinez; and a nephew and a niece.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by sister Eva Marie Daley Dewey; and nephew Quentin T. Alcorn.

A Catholic funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 23 at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo with Deacon Al Hallatt officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Manteo Cemetery.
