The Wanchese Lions Club put on a fish fry for the Kill Devil Hills Ocean Rescue Lifeguards on May 28.

The fish fry was one of the items offered in the VIP Fishing Tournament online auction. It was purchased by Cindy and Tom Mattingly, who gave it to the lifeguards as they have done for the last several years.

This is one of many community service projects that the Wanchese Lions Club does every year.
