Connie Brown Hofler Sanders, 70, of Elizabeth City, died June 25, 2021 at home. She was born January 11, 1951 in Sunbury to the late Cooper Hofler and Lois Brown Hofler and was the wife of Grover Lee Sanders Jr.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Tracey Winslow, Allison Sanders and Ashley Swayne; sisters Linda Algood, Barbara Thomas, Beverly Windley; and grandchildren Jonathan Winslow and Riley Swayne.

A funeral service was held June 28. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, NC 27843. Twiford Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City is serving the family.  www.TwifordFH.com.
