Linville Park Elkin, or “Lin” as he was best known, 61, of Waterlily, died unexpectedly July 6, 2021 in Currituck. Born in Kentucky, Lin was the son of the late Billy and Berta Elkin.

Survivors include children Emily Denise White, Justin Elkin (Nicole) and Megan Tice (James); grandchildren Kiya White, Nevaeh Elkin, Ryland Elkin, Dylan Elkin, Prudence Elkin, Chloe Elkin, Cheyenne Tice and Dakota Tice; sister Joanna Pritchard (Mike); brother Billy Elkin and extended family members and friends.

As Lin would have wanted, the family has arranged his cremation. They are planning a private dockside memorial gathering to celebrate his life. Gallop Funeral Services, Inc. was entrusted with arrangements. www.gallopfuneralservices.com
