James “Jimmy” Guiton Midgette, 71, of Manns Harbor, died July 12, 2021 in Hampton, Va.

Born in Pasquotank County on January 21, 1950, he was the son of the late Renee Cuthrell and Robert Lee Midgette Sr.

Jimmy is survived by brother Robert Lee Midgette Jr. and wife Debbie and other family members.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Michael and Carlton Midgette.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on July 16 at Twiford Colony Chapel, Manteo. The family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service. Private burial will take place at Manteo Cemetery.
