Grace Cahoon Spencer, 92, of Swan Quarter, died at home July 13, 2021.

Grace was born January 9, 1929 in Beaufort County and reared by the late Abram and Katie Swindell Cahoon. She married Warren G. Spencer, who preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by daughters Marsha Danser and Kathryn Page (Allen); granddaughter Ashleigh Hatefi (Joe), grandson Spencer Page and step-grandson Rob Danser (Cecil); six great-grandchildren; sister in-law Mae Spencer of Wilmington and nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; half-sisters Naomi Alligood, Eleanor Humphreys, Bettie Elliott and half-brother Kent Gurganus.

She was preceded in death by son in-law Robert Danse; sisters Elizabeth Harris, Kathleen Whitley, Selma Harden, Charlotte Biggs and Edna Elks; brothers Charlie Cahoon, Ray Cahoon, Joshua Cahoon and Glen Gurganus.
