Willie W. Gray, 90, of Hertford, died at home on July 12, 2021. He was born in Pasquotank County on September 28, 1930 to the late Dempsey and Elizabeth Gray.

Along with many nieces, grandnieces, nephews and grandnephews, he is survived by adopted daughter Melanie and her two children.

Willie was preceded in death by brothers O’Brien, Edward, Joe and David and sisters Fannie, Annie, Nora, Dora and Maude.

A graveside service was held July 16 with the Rev. Boyce E. Porter officiating. Twiford Memorial Chapel, Elizabeth City is serving the family. www.TwifordFH.com.
