Robert Denis Deaver, 75, of Columbia, died July 17, 2021 at Washington County Regional Medical Center in Plymouth.

Robert was born in Tyrrell County on July 25, 1945 to the late Gordon A. Sr. and Virginia Arnold Deaver.

A memorial service will be held July 24 at 1 p.m. at the Bryan Funeral Service Chapel, Columbia. Pastor Prudencio Casas will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Surviving are brothers Gordon A. Deaver Jr. (Rena), Allen Deaver (Patricia) and Michael Deaver (Carol); sisters Sue Roughton and Nancy Roughton (Tony) and other family.

He was preceded in death by brothers Charles Deaver, Melvin Deaver, Paul Deaver, Ray Deaver and Danny Deaver and sisters Jean D. Walker, Ann D. Willoughby and Fay D. Bateman.

Arrangements are by Bryan Funeral Service, Columbia.
